Welcome to Le Poussin at Parkhill
Nestled in 14 acres of parkland and pastures, Parkhill is an elegant Georgian
country manor originally established as a Hunting Lodge in the 13th Century, then rebuilt
by the Duke of Clarence in the 1740’s for royalty.
Queen Victoria and her family and poets T.S.Eliot and Alfred Lord Tennyson among others have
been associated with Parkhill, which is currently undergoing refurbishment to transform it
into ‘the ultimate house in the country’ complete with grand spa. It is
expected to re-open in 2009.
